Malanotte del Piave DOCG is the most complex and fine version of Raboso. It has 30% of dried grapes are ages in oak and barrique for 36 months. A legend tells that during full moon nights the devil comes to Rai and put one foot on the tower, and one on the bell of Chiesa del Carmine, the church next to our company. This tale inspired our Raboso Notti di Luna Piena (Full Moon Night), a sumptuous wine, of an intense ruby red. On the nose the scent of cherries, wild blueberry and sour cherry. Spicy hints of cinnamon, vanilla and pepper. In the mouth is sumptuous, with a good structure and important tannins. Finish is wide and persistent. An aging Raboso, with no compromises.
Perfect with the most complex meat dishes, slow-cooked and with game. Our advice is to pair Raboso Malanotte del Piave DOCG with a beef stew.
