THE WORLD OF PROSECCO

The Prosecco Hills are located in a special place, where Venice Lagoon meets the Dolomites, 50 km away from Venice.

This is a vocated area for what concern the wine production, for three centuries.

In 2009, the historic production area became a DOCG

At the same time, nine provinces in Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia, previously designated as IGT, were given the DOC Prosecco designation.

PROSECCO DOC TREVISO

Ca’ di Rajo produces three version of Prosecco Doc Treviso: Brut, Extra Dry e Dry.Long charmat, slow fermentation and the choice of selected yeasts are the main features of our Prosecco DOC range.

Prosecco Doc Extra Dry is made entirely from grapes harvested by hand in vineyards trained with Bellussera method.

THE ORIGIN OF PROSECCO

FRIZZANTI

Also Ca’ di Rajo produced Prosecco Doc Frizzante with screw cup or with traditional twine binding.

Lemoss is a sur lie, maked only with Glera 100% harvested by hand in the Bellussera vineyard, and indigenous yeasts. This wine encapsulates the genuine nature of ancient peasant gestures.

Once upon a time, wine was not filtered. In the spring, the yeast consumed all the dissolved sugars in the bottle, imparting the characteristic fizziness.
