ICONEMA 2023: A Century of History Returns in a New Collector’s Edition

Some wines are born from a vineyard.

ICONEMA is born from a memory.

With the new 2023 vintage, Ca’ di Rajo presents a new expression of its most representative project: a limited and numbered Tai DOC Piave, guardian of a viticultural heritage whose roots stretch back to the early years of the twentieth century.

ICONEMA comes from an ancient vineyard cultivated using the Bellussera system, an extraordinary vegetative architecture that has shaped the landscape of the Sinistra Piave for over a century. A vineyard that Ca’ di Rajo has chosen to adopt and preserve, transforming it into a symbol of its own philosophy: protecting history in order to hand it on to the future.

Every bunch is harvested exclusively by hand and carefully selected. The grapes are then laid on drying racks for a brief period of late harvest drying — an ancient practice that concentrates aromas and complexity, lending the wine elegance, depth and the capacity to evolve.

The 2023 harvest marks a new chapter in this story with an even more exclusive production: just 1,200 bottles of 0.75 litres and 100 Magnums of 1.5 litres, each individually numbered.

The 100 Magnums represent the most precious expression of ICONEMA: each bottle will be housed inside a hand-painted wooden case, transforming every piece into a unique work in which wine meets art and craftsmanship.

Since its very first release, ICONEMA has always had a deep bond with the world of art. Earlier editions saw the involvement of artists invited to interpret the Magnum cases through painting, making each piece one of a kind and underlining the cultural value of the project. This dialogue between vineyard, wine and creativity continues today with a new collection destined for a select few enthusiasts and collectors.

ICONEMA 2023 is not simply a limited-edition wine.

It is the story of a territory, the act of preserving a tradition that had almost disappeared, and a testament to how the past can continue to live on through a new generation.
